What is Generative Engine Optimisation?
Generative Engine Optimisation, or GEO, is the practice of making your brand visible in AI-generated answers. Where traditional search returns a list of links, tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews compose a direct response and cite the sources they trusted to write it.
GEO works by making your content easy for machines to understand and safe for them to repeat: semantic clarity, schema markup, question-led structure and the third-party corroboration that separates a claim from an answer.
